Devils forward Marcus Johansson was diagnosed with a concussion after taking an elbow to the head from Bruins forward Brad Marchand on Tuesday. The NHL suspended Marchand five games for the elbow, which came at the 18:01 mark of the third period in the Devils' 3-2 loss at TD Garden in Boston. Johansson will miss Thursday's game against the Nashville Predators. Taylor Hall will also miss his third straight game with a hand injury, while Cory Schneider will be out with a groin injury. Johansson will be sidelined with a concussion for the second time this season and for the third time in his career. The forward missed one month when he went head first into the boards in a Nov. 1 game against the Vancouver Canucks. Johansson missed 12 games with a concussion in January of the 2012-13 season.
