Madison Square Garden brings out the best in Ryan Carter. The Devils winger, who scored the Game 5 goal which gave the Devils control of the 2012 Eastern Conference finals, beat goalie Henrik Lundqvist twice in the second period Tuesday night and Dainius Zubrus added the winner late in the third period for a 3-2 triumph over the Rangers. The Devils have won three of their last four games while taking seven of a possible eight points during that period. Martin Brodeur, whose personal shutout streak of 191:12 came to an end, posted his third straight win. Trailing, 2-1, the Rangers tied the score after the Devils killed off a Jaromir Jagr penalty in the third. Dan Girardi’s wrist shot hit Adam Larsson’s skate and went in at 13:18 for a 2-2 deadlock.
