It only took a few days for COVID-19 to wreak havoc in Major League Baseball and put the season in jeopardy.

The Miami Marlins' home opener Monday has been canceled, after 11 of the 33 players who have been traveling with the team tested positive for the novel coronavirus, as did two coaches, according to ESPN.

The Philadelphia Phillies, who played the Marlins over the weekend, also had Monday's showdown with the New York Yankees canceled.

Might the Detroit Tigers' home opener Monday night vs. the Kansas City Royals at Comerica Park be next to be postponed?
