If there’s one thing quarterbacks in the 2017 NFL Draft class don’t lack, it’s confidence. After former Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer compared himself to Tom Brady and Cam Newton, yet another soon-to-be rookie signal caller is setting high expectations for his career. Fresh off leading his former Clemson team to a national championship, Deshaun Watson aims to win six more titles in the NFL. He’s also apparently dreaming of a day when he will surpass Brady as the greatest ever. “I’m chasing the GOAT. I’m chasing Tom (Brady),” Watson said, via NFL Media. “I’m going for six. That’s the big thing.” Tell us how you really feel, Mr. Watson. This comes on the same day that an unnamed scout indicated that Watson is better than current Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (more on that here). Being compared to a fellow young signal caller is one thing. Setting your sights on becoming the next great NFL quarterback is a completely different thing.
