Dennis Schroder has recently signed with the Boston Celtics on a one-year $5.9 million deal with the Boston Celtics. Dennis Schroder will fill their void at point guard, and will likely start next to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

The deal Dennis Schroder signed with the Boston Celtics in free agency is far smaller than the $84 million extension he rejected from the Los Angeles Lakers during the season. Dennis Schroder bet on himself to earn more than the Lakers' offer but it seems as though no team was willing to give him a long-term lucrative deal during this free agency period.

While he didn't get the contract he originally desired, a one-year deal with the Boston Celtics could allow him to prove that he deserves a big contract.
