DeMarcus Ware wants to clarify comments he made in the wake of the team’s season ending loss to Philadelphia. Yes, the veteran defensive end is willing to restructure his contract when the club comes to him this off-season. He did not say he will take a pay cut. “No, I didn’t say that,” Ware said Monday afternoon at Valley Ranch. “I said I will do whatever I need to do to maneuver some things around to help the team out. I’m for that. It’s nothing new to me. “But pay cut and restructure are two different things. You hear what I’m saying. Clar-i-fy.” Ware is scheduled to make $12.2 million in 2014 and has a salary cap hit of $16 million. He is one of the players the Cowboys go to every off-season to push money back to create more cap space in the upcoming year.
