It is without question that we were all blessed with one of the greatest offseasons of all time. New Los Angeles Lakers recruit DeMarcus Cousins could not agree more, as he has gone out to say that this year’s edition of the offseason has been “one for the books.”

“It’s one for the books for sure,” Cousins told Jared Peck of Kentucky Sports. “There hasn’t been a summer like this ever. I’m pretty sure ya’ll have been entertained all summer. It’s going to be exciting to see all these new faces and new teams.”

We see no lies from Cousins here. He is speaking the absolute truth, and this landscape-changing summer will certainly be remembered for years to come.

For his part, Cousins was also on the move, as he parted ways with his former team, the Golden State Warriors, after just one season with the squad. The 6-foot-11 big man signed with the Dubs last summer on a veteran’s minimum, with the hopes of making a noteworthy comeback following his career-threatening Achilles injury two years ago.
