The Sacramento Kings have been at the center of the NBA trade rumor mill as of late, with rumors surrounding possible trades including the Detroit Pistons’ Jerami Grant, and the endless rumors about the Philadelphia 76ers’ unhappy star Ben Simmons. Most of these trades involving the Kings revolve around De’Aaron Fox, fueled by speculation pointed towards the clogged Kings backcourt. As the Kings have drafted two guards in the last two drafts—Tyrese Haliburton and Davion Mitchell—to go with Fox, more and more rumors are rising when it comes to relocating Fox for star-level talent.

The presence of Haliburton and Mitchell can potentially point towards a trade surrounding Fox—or Fox in a package alongside other pieces—happening soon enough. Mitchell, already a good defender, can grow into a dependable point guard eventually. However, this eventually is what leaves Kings fans worried.
