The Blues want to be cautious with progress reports on David Perron, but the club acknowledged today that Perron is making some strides in his battle with post-concussion syndrome. "We've talked to David, and he's feeling better, but he's not at the point where he's coming back to St. Louis to take the necessary tests before he can train," Blues general manager Doug Armstrong said. "He's taking small steps ahead, but not to the point where he has passed his tests to begin his summer training program." Perron suffered a concussion Nov. 4 against San Jose and missed the final 72 games of the season. When the regular season ended in April, Perron was still experiencing lingering symptoms from the concussion.
