David Pastrnak of the Boston Bruins won the Golden Hockey Stick as Czech Player of the Year for the fifth straight season, passing former NHL forward Jaromir Jagr for the most consecutive victories.

The 25-year-old native of Havirov, Czech Republic also tied Hockey Hall of Fame goalie Dominik Hasek with five Golden Hockey Stick Awards, second behind Jagr's 12. Pastrnak scored 48 points (20 goals, 28 assists) in 48 games last season.

Pastrnak received 492 votes, 20 more than Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ondrej Palat. Former Bruins center David Krejci (338) was third.
