The rebuilding Chicago Bulls got some bad news on Monday as head coach Fred Hoiberg announced that guard David Nwaba will miss at least the next two -to-four weeks due to a severely sprained ankle. The second-year guard was injured during the Bulls’ 96-90 overtime loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday evening. Nwaba never made it to overtime, however, as his third consecutive start ended in injury. With five minutes and 17 seconds left in the third quarter, he fell on to the floor at the United Center and immediately grabbed for his right ankle. Teammates had to help him to the Bulls’ bench. To add insult to injury, Nwaba was called for a charge on the play where he got hurt. He finished the night with seven points, four rebounds and two assists.
