A potential eligibility issue will keep one of Kansas' star freshmen off the floor Saturday night and perhaps an even longer time. Kansas announced Saturday afternoon true freshman forward Cliff Alexander will not play for the No. 8 Jayhawks in their home game against Texas after the NCAA alerted the school to an issue "that could affect (Alexander's) eligibility." "As a precautionary measure, Cliff will not take the court until we have resolved the issue," Kansas athletic director Sheahon Zenger said in a statement. The former 5-star recruit out of Chicago came to Kansas with a lot of buzz, but he is currently averaging only 7.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game this season.
