Travis d'Arnaud has been cleared to begin playing in minor league games later this week, a team source told ESPNNewYork.com. D'Arnaud received the go-ahead during a Monday exam in New York. He will run the bases Tuesday and Wednesday, then is scheduled to play in his first minor league game Thursday since suffering a broken left foot. D'Arnaud, the organization's top catching prospect, suffered a fractured first metatarsal while catching with Triple-A Las Vegas on April 17.
