Timberwolves forward Dante Cunningham has been charged with felony domestic assault, according to the Hennepin County attorney's office. Cunningham, 26-year-old key reserve for the Wolves, will make his first court appearance Monday, the attorney's office said. Bail has been set at $40,000. Cunningham is accused of assault by strangulation after an incident at his Medina home at about 4 a.m., the attorney's office said. The criminal complaint gave this account: A woman, who has been dating Cunningham since last summer and living with him for eight months, called 911 at about 3:30 a.m. They have been having problems recently. They got in an argument and she locked a bedroom door after Cunningham left. A short time later, Cunningham returned and kicked in the door. He grabbed her by the neck and slammer her against the wall and strangled her for about 15 to 20 seconds before letting her go and leaving the home.
