D’Angelo Russell is eligible to receive a rookie-scale extension with the Brooklyn Nets, but he’s yet to be offered one by the team, according to Michael Scotto of The Athletic.

The crafty lefty will be owed $7.02 million this upcoming season and is eligible for a $9.16 million qualifying offer, which would make him a restricted free agent for the 2019-20 season if he hasn’t agreed to a deal by October.

Russell came to the Nets as the main piece of a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers, who looked to make way for their new point guard Lonzo Ball.
