Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has signed forward Tyler Pitlick to a three-year, $3-million contract. Pitlick, 25, posted 11 points (8-3=11) in 31 games played for Edmonton in 2016-17. His eight goals marked a career-high and all came at even strength. He also added 70 hits in his 31 games played, which was 11th on the team. In parts of three NHL seasons, all with Edmonton, he has posted 14 points (11-3=14) in 58 career regular-season games. He has also played in parts of five American Hockey League seasons with Bakersfield and Oklahoma City, where he combined to record 85 points (28-57=85) in 196 career regular-season games. In 31 career Calder Cup Playoff contests, he posted 13 points (4-9=13).
