The Winnipeg Jets are giving one of their all-time best his due. Dale Hawerchuk, who spent nine years in Winnipeg and topped the 100-point mark in six of those seasons, will be inducted into the Winnipeg Jets Hall of Fame, the team announced on Sunday. The induction ceremony will take place at Winnipeg’s Bell MTS Place on Nov. 14th, prior to the Jets’ tilt against the Arizona Coyotes. “I’m incredibly honoured to join the Winnipeg Jets Hall of Fame and to be recognized alongside the other greats of the past,” Hawerchuk said, according to the team. “I look back fondly on the nine years I spent with the Jets and living in the city of Winnipeg. It will be a real treat to return to the city for the ceremony.” Hawerchuk will join current Jets hall of famers Bobby Hull, Anders Hedberg, and Ulf Nilsson, the three of whom were inducted together last year.
