The Crusaders currently stand in third place in the Patriot League with an 11-5 mark in conference games, while the Greyhounds are in eighth place at 5-11. Holy Cross has already clinched a top four finish in the Patriot League and a home game in the conference quarterfinals, and will be seeded either second, third or fourth in the league tournament. Following the contest with the Greyhounds, the Crusaders will close out the regular season by playing host to Boston University on Saturday, March 1 (2:00 p.m.). THE SERIES WITH LOYOLA: This will be only the sixth meeting between the Crusaders and the Greyhounds on the hardwood, with Holy Cross leading the all-time series 3-2. Prior to this season, the schools had not met since Dec. 29, 1995, when Loyola posted a 73-55 victory in the consolation game of the Otis Spunkmeyer Classic in Oakland, Calif. The teams first played on Dec. 1, 1975, when the Crusaders posted a 94-85 victory in the first-ever game at the Hart Center.
