Another night, yet another NBA record that has to do with the Houston Rockets. This time, it was star point guard Chris Paul on Saturday night when he passed Andre Miller for No. 9 all-time in career assists in NBA history. Early in the second quarter of Saturday night’s primetime contest between the Rockets and the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena, Paul quickly dished a two-handed pass to small forward P.J. Tucker for a corner 3-pointer. This was career assist No. 8,525 for Paul for the regular season, which puts him in front of Miller — a former point guard for the Cavs.
