Devils goalie Cory Schneider did not travel with the team to Pittsburgh for Tuesday's game against the Penguins, but the goalie is getting closer to his return. Schneider participated in a full team practice on Monday for the first time since suffering a groin injury on Jan. 23. Schneider ramped up his activity last week when he resumed skating and began participating in smaller activities with teammates. While Schneider won't play in Pittsburgh, coach John Hynes said the goalie could join the team for Thursday's game in Florida against the Panthers or Friday's game in Raleigh against the Carolina Hurricanes. "I'm not ruling out Florida or Carolina," Hynes said. "He's going to get another work day (in Newark) and we'll see how it goes later in the week."
