Louisville coach Rick Pitino is still scratching his head about how his program became involved in a scandal that cost his team a shot at playing in March Madness. In the midst of a solid season, the Cardinals self-imposed a postseason ban due to accusations that former graduate assistant Andre McGee provided escorts and strippers for recruits between 2010-14. Pitino thought he had people in place, like McGee, to make sure his players stayed out of trouble. "You have your dorm security people, who are being interviewed by the NCAA, then you have your graduate assistants," Pitino said. "One unfortunate one was Andre McGee, whose sole responsibility was to make sure the kids get to school on time, make sure they get up in the mornings when they have a presentation or breakfast with a head coach or family.
