The Indianapolis Colts have selected former Wisconsin Badgers running back Jonathan Taylor with the No. 41 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The running back not being valued as high as really hurt Taylor’s stock. If this would have been 10 or 15 years ago, Taylor would probably have been a top ten pick.

Coming out of high school, Taylor was only a three-star recruit according to 247 Sports. Jonathan Taylor selected the Badgers over offers from Rutgers, Army, and Boston College among others.

Jonathan Taylor was an impact player for Wisconsin from the moment he stepped onto the field. In 2017, Taylor rushed for 1977 yards and 13 touchdowns. In 2018, he rushed for 2,194 yards and 16 touchdowns. As a junior, it was his best season yet putting up 2003 yards and 21 touchdowns.
