Colorado State's football program received good news this week as the Mountain West conference granted medical hardships for both linebacker Kevin Davis and defensive lineman Josh Lovingood. "We were grateful the league OK'd medical hardships for both Kevin and Josh," CSU head coach Jim McElwain said Wednesday. "That gives us a big boost for their future and ours knowing they have another year." Both of them appeared early in the 2013 season for the Rams, Davis playing the first four games (mostly on special teams) and Lovingood appearing in three.
