That clear-the-air conversation between DeMarcus Cousins and USA Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo on Monday seems to have benefitted both parties. While Cousins said he heard nothing definitive when he approached Colangelo and why the USAB czar characterized him as "immature" during the opening days of the training cap. On Tuesday, while Cousins and the Select Team practiced in an adjacent gym and the Olympians warmed up for their own session, Colangelo seemed eager to put the issue to rest. "We had a discussion," said Colangelo. "He asked me to be specific. I tried to be responsive, and as far as I'm concerned, (they should) just bury it. It's a non-issue. Hopefully that's the end of it."
