The Texans are unleashing Jadeveon Clowney on the NFL on Saturday night. The No. 1 overall pick, who has missed the last few days of practice, was back on the field Thursday and said he’ll play in the team’s first preseason game against the Cardinals in Arizona. “Oh yeah, I’ll be playing,” he said. When the team released its initial depth chart on Tuesday, he was listed as the starter at the JACK linebacker position. Will he start on Saturday? “Yeah … hopefully,” he said. Shortly after Clowney talked to the media, head coach Bill O’Brien was asked about Clowney’s saying he’ll start the game.
