Ryane Clowe will have a disciplinary hearing with the league on Monday in regards to an incident late in the third period of the Sharks’ 2-1 loss in Chicago on Friday. He will not play on Saturday against the Stars, according to Elliotte Friedman. Clowe appeared to leave the bench to engage the Blackhawks’ Andrew Shaw, after Shaw hit Joe Pavelski with a dangerous check from behind. Clowe was issued a minor for roughing and a 10-minute misconduct at 19:51, while Shaw got two minutes for boarding Pavelski. Clowe could face a suspension of as many as 10 games. If the league views it as Clowe was coming on the ice for a line change, the potential suspension would be much less severe.
