The Spanish giants opted to play its match last Sunday against Las Palmas without any fans in attendance as Catalonia continues its push towards independence from its native Spain. Barcelona has openly supported the decision by citizens of the area to vote in favor of secession, but the club did lose a bit of money by playing its match behind closed doors.
