Los Angeles Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro could soon have some inkling into whether he will stick with the team he helped to reach a franchise-record 56 wins. Del Negro could meet with Clippers owner Donald Sterling early next week to discuss his future in — or departure from — Los Angeles, according to Ken Berger of CBSSports.com. This season, the second of Chris Paul's term with the team, ended in a first-round loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Just last season, the Clippers advanced to the second round with a Game 7 win over Memphis. Del Negro's contract expires on June 1. With Paul eligible to sign as a free agent on July 1, how the Clippers proceed in June could have a profound effect on their future. In the meantime, the Clippers intend to "explore all option" in their search to find the right coaching fit, which, at the end of the day, could turn out to be Del Negro.
