Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence had himself a historic first half against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday.
Lawrence, who is widely expected to be the first passer taken in the 2021 NFL Draft, threw five touchdowns in the first half alone.
Trevor Lawrence finished the game 24-of-32 for 404 yards, five touchdowns and one interception for Clemson. NFL teams in need of a quarterback were likely salivating watching the youngster tear up the Yellow Jackets’ defense, as Lawrence showed off his rocket arm and agility on a bevy of plays.
The New York Jets, New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons are the only winless teams in the NFL entering Week 6.
