One of the nation's most coveted slot wide receivers, four-star Troy Stellato, committed to Clemson over Ohio State on Friday afternoon.

Ohio State emerged early in his recruitment before Clemson surged and never surrendered momentum.

Clemson, now with 14 commitments, leaps Tennessee to claim the nation's No. 2 recruiting class. Ohio State, with 19 commitments, has the top class.

Stellato, a Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons product, represents a significant recruiting win for Tigers first-year wide receivers coach Tyler Grisham, who took over Stellato's recruitment for Clemson in January after former offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Jeff Scott departed the program for USF.
