Reserve power forward Ibrahim Djambo is transferring, the third to do so from the Clemson men's basketball program in the last six months. A 6-10, 215-pounder originally from Bamako, Mali, Djambo played one season at Clemson and had one year of eligibility remaining after a two-year stint at Three Rivers (Mo.) Community College. "We thank Ibi for the hard work he has given to our program over the past year," men's basketball coach Brad Brownell said in a statement. "He was an outstanding student and a great teammate, and I'm sorry to see him leave. We wish him the best in the future." Djambo averaged 1.9 points and 1.4 rebounds in 32 games last winter, logging 9.2 minutes per appearance. His career highs were eight points (against South Carolina) and five rebounds, set separately in non-conference action in November. He also dropped in a couple of 3-pointers to help beat Wake Forest on Jan. 18. Djambo, who speaks four languages, has played basketball for just three years.
