Brandon Phillips was back Sunday in the lineup after missing five starts with a strained left hamstring. Phillips sent a bit of alarm through Redsland by pulling up on a double in the ninth inning. He was replaced by pinch-runner Wilson Valdez. Phillips did not re-injure himself. "I didn't hurt it," he said. "But I felt it. I just play. When I took off (on a bunt) in the seventh, I was like, 'whoa.'" Phillips thought better of trying to beat out the bunt. He stayed in the game, however. He's going to have to take it easy for at least a week or so until the leg gets fully healed.
