Lamar Odom remains the leading candidate to be signed by the Los Angeles Clippers to fill the opening they have in their frontcourt rotation. By far. But there's at least one other known name on the Clippers' list behind Odom in terms of potential in-season signees: Chris Wilcox. Sources close to the situation say that Wilcox, who Clippers coach Doc Rivers knows well after their time together in Boston, is in L.A.'s thoughts as a fallback options should it ultimately decide to pass on bringing back Odom. The corresponding lack of familiarity between Rivers and Odom is among the reasons the Clippers summoned the 33-year-old to a two-hour meeting at their practice facility last week. Odom is well-known in Clipperland after his two stints with the team -- with the second coming as recently as last season -- but that was all pre-Rivers.
