The Falcons only had one rookie who wasn’t under contract when they kicked off their rookie minicamp last week, and less than a week later, Chris Lindstrom is signed. That was pretty easy.

Lindstrom was one of the surprises of the first round, but the hyper-athletic guard is expected to step in as a starter on day one at either left or right guard. The hope is that Lindstrom can alleviate some of the seemingly endless guard woes the team has endured in recent years, and he has the talent to be a top-flight starter for a decade or more.
