Former Vikings punter Chris Kluwe plans to file his lawsuit against the Vikings and special-teams coordinator Mike Priefer on Wednesday, Kluwe’s lawyer wrote in a text message Monday. Clayton Halunen, Kluwe’s lawyer, told the Pioneer Press last Friday the lawsuit will seek in excess of $10 million. If any money is awarded, Kluwe says it will be donated to LGBT groups. Kluwe accused the Vikings last January in an article on Deadspin.com of releasing him in May 2013 due to his outspoken views on same-sex marriage and Priefer of making homophobic comments during the 2012 season.
