So, maybe Chip Kelly isn't the main target of Florida's coaching search -- at least according to Steve Spurrier. Rumors that the former Oregon coach was the next man up in Gainesville took a hit after Spurrier said in a radio interview that the next Gators coach currently is in the coaching ranks. Kelly hasn't been with a team since he was fired by the San Francisco 49ers after the 2016 season. Currently, he's an analyst with ESPN. Spurrier is a former star quarterback for the Gators and also was Florida's head coach. On the Buddy Martin Radio Show on Wednesday, he said he thinks the Gators will have "an excellent coach here in 3-4 weeks.
