Ten days into free agency, there are still capable and experienced players to be had in free agency. Take the case of cornerback Chris Owens, whom the Chiefs signed on Friday. Pro Football Focus graded the 28-year-old Owens 45th out of 110 qualifying cornerbacks in 2013, a season in which he played 12 games for Cleveland and one for Miami. Overall, he notched 58 tackles, defended three passes and recorded 2.5 sacks. Before joining the Browns in the 2013 offseason, the 5-foot-9, 180-pound Owens played four seasons with Atlanta (2009-2012). He has appeared in 72 NFL regular season games, recording 184 tackles and intercepting three passes.
