There was a rush of compassion for defensive tackle Kyle Love, after the Patriots released him upon learning of a diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes. But he hasn’t been able to keep another job since then, either. The Chiefs announced they were cutting Love, to make room for nose tackle Jerrel Powe on the 53-man roster. The Chiefs signed him two weeks ago, after he spent training camp with the Jaguars but was released the day after final cuts.
