The Chicago Bulls will rest shooting guard Zach LaVine against the Brooklyn Nets tonight, as he’s yet to be cleared for back-to-back outings, according to Vincent Goodwill of NBC Sports Chicago. The Bulls face will face the Charlotte Hornets tomorrow, but Brooklyn and Chicago are only separated by 1.5 games in the lottery standings, making this the ideal opportunity to sit the 22-year-old and come within a half game of the Nets, in hopes to net a higher selection. Having already partially shut down veteran Robin Lopez, the Bulls have admittedly gone full-go on their youth movement, which to some if just a cordial way to say they’re readying themselves to lose as many games as possible in hopes for a place in the lottery.
