Fernando Torres insists he is not behind Samuel Eto’o in the striker stakes at Chelsea. Torres is the only forward at the west London club to have found the net so far this season. He also started Tuesday’s Capital One Cup win at Swindon with Eto’o being rested for the big trip to Tottenham on Saturday. Eto’o was not signed until Jose Mourinho knew Wayne Rooney would be staying at Manchester United but has so far been seen as Chelsea’s main striker with Demba Ba seemingly out of favour. But Torres said: “We have great strikers and all of us are going to score goals. “It’s nice to have this competition. The season is going to be long like the last one. There’ll be time for all of us to play in important games and score some goals.
