At first glance, it may look like Chelsea’s first-team squad is set for years to come, at least when it comes to goalkeeping, attack, or even midfield. But we are always looking for young players who in a few years could contribute to the cause, or at least generate a good profit once their development is complete.

With this in mind, Chelsea are reportedly “keeping an eye on” RB Leipzig left back Matthew Bondswell, with West Ham joining, too, as per a report from the Telegraph. The 18-year-old is currently on loan at Dutch club FC Dordrecht, and getting his feet wet as a professional during his season-long stint.
