Traore signed for Chelsea four years ago but has managed just 16 senior appearances for the Blues. The 21-year-old has spent the two of the last three years on loan in Holland, scoring a combined 31 goals for Vitesse in 2014/15 and Ajax last season. But the Burkina Faso international is unlikely to be offered many first-team opportunities under Antonio Conte next term. And according to the Daily Mail, Traore will complete a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge before the end of the week. The former Auxerre striker is reportedly closing in on a return to France with Ligue 1 giants Lyon, who will pay £16million for his services. Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas revealed last week that the club are interested in Traore but faced competition from other clubs.
