Stamford Bridge side plan big money signing. Chelsea are ready to push on with efforts to sign Colombian striker Radamel Falcao and will consider big money offers for Juan Mata in order to help finance such a bid according to Le10Sport. There have been rumblings of discontent at the Stade Louis II with AS Monaco striker Falcao apparently unsettled at the big spending Ligue 1 side, leading to a great deal of speculation that interested parties could attempt to lure the former Atletico Madrid man away from the principality side in January. Chelsea have previously been linked with a £60m move for the 27 year old and one would imagine that AS Monaco would only listen to offers significantly higher than than the £52m they paid for his services in May. Mourinho has watched on as his current quartet of strikers, Demba Ba, Samuel Eto’o, Andre Schurrle and Fernando Torres have all failed to impress, managing just four Premier League goals between them this season.
