Chelsea are preparing another bid to entice Ross Barkley to Stamford Bridge. Barkley snubbed the Premier League champions on deadline day in August because he preferred the idea of a move to Tottenham where he thought he had more chance of regular football. Spurs were unwilling to make a move at the time because the 24-year-old Everton and England midfielder was facing months out with a serious hamstring injury. Barkley is at least two weeks away from fitness and Mauricio Pochettino remains interested. 'We are focused on trying to bring more English players through the academy,' said Tottenham boss Pochettino, last week.
