Chelsea striker Diego Costa is hoping the club can conclude transfer talks with Atletico Madrid by the end of the week. Atletico are making a revised proposal of £40million, plus £9m in add-ons and a £4m bonus payment for Costa's early release. Costa wants to travel to Madrid on Tuesday night where he hopes to stay and train while the clubs thrash out terms. Chelsea wanted Costa to return to training and settle his difference prior to agreeing to his sale but there is also a desire to get the matter resolved quickly so it doesn't become a greater distraction to Antonio Conte's plans. The two sides meet in the Champions League on September 27 and are keen to have a deal resolved before then. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal are also showing an interest in taking him on a short term loan until January.
