John Terry is among the list of candidates Bournemouth are considering to replace Eddie Howe as manager.

The Cherries were relegated to the Championship on the final day of the Premier League season, ending their five-year spell in the top flight.

Howe spent 11 years across two spells as Bournemouth’s manager and masterminded their promotion winning campaigns, but confirmed his departure by mutual consent last weekend.

The 42-year-old’s long-term assistant Jason Tindall is said to be keen on the vacant role but the south coast club are in the process of drawing up a comprehensive list of possible successors to Howe.
