It looks like Kenneth Omeruo will finally get his wish and complete his permanent transfer to Leganés, where he had been on loan already last season. (The Spanish transfer window is open through the end of the month.)

The La Liga minnows spent much of the summer trying to negotiate a fee with Chelsea for the 25-year-old center back, but according to yesterday’s Diario AS, those talks have finally borne fruit. The two teams have apparently agreed a €5m fee, with a 15 per cent sell-on clause. This clause was evidently key to Chelsea accepting a lower bid than what other teams were offering, such as Celta de Vigo, who came in with €6m.
