Chelsea’s primary target to reinforce the centre forward position in the summer is certainly the one-and-only Erling Braut Haaland, but obviously the club will keep a alternative targets in mind in the unlikely event that a move for the Norway international falls through. One of those targets could be Manchester City legend, Sergio Agüero, if the Daily Mail are to be believed.

Agüero, whose contract expires at the end of the season, apparently wants to stay in the Premier League, with or without City. With Chelsea possibly in need of a centre forward, and certainly having the financial and sporting capabilities to meet his demands, we could very well be in the driver’s seat if we wanted to be.

Others, like Barcelona and PSG are potentially also interested, and the former have apparently even held talks with the player’s camp.
