Chelsea could be making a saving of more than £25million on prospective new signing Timo Werner according to a valuation of the player.
The Germany international is expected to make the move to Stamford Bridge this summer, with the Blueshaving reportedly met RB Leipzig’s £53million buy-out clause.
And according to the CIES Football Observatory transfer value list, Chelsea appear to have secured Werner at a bargain.
The list presents the 100 big-five league players (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1) with the highest estimated transfer values, according to the CIES Football Observatory algorithm.
Werner features among the most valuable forwards in the world at €90.3million, or just over £79million.
