Charges against WVU running back Wendell Smallwood were dropped today, according to Jason Miller, the public officer of the Delaware attorney general’s office. Smallwood was accused of trying to intimidate a witness in a murder case involving Zakee Lloyd in Wilmington, Del. After confirming the charges were dismissed, Miller issued a statement. “The investigation and prosecution of this case has always been focused on securing the conviction of Zakee Lloyd for the murder of Manuel Oliveras on April 14, 2012.
